National Archives Records of Rights Interactive Exhibit
While working at Second Story For the Foundation for the National Archives
2013
Second Story created this interactive table, wall display, and accompanying website to allow guests to explore the history of how the the definition of our rights have shaped our cultural and political landscape at the National Archives in Washington, DC.
Conceptually, the reactive display reflects the impact that individuals have had in disrupting the boundaries of our rights.
Guests explore story threads populated with artifacts and historical context.
Selecting an artifact allows the guest to read details through designated hot spots and provide their emotional response through a combination of pre-determined adjectives.
Submitting a response causes the table and wall displays to react, encouraging conversation between guests.
